Broccoli Salad

We make this a lot for summer BBQ's but it's good any time of the year. Makes a fairly large batch.

Ingredients

1 1/2 bunch
broccoli
1/2 lb
bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2
of a medium red onion, chopped
1 c
sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Step-By-Step

1Mix broccoli, bacon, onion and cheese together in a salad bowl. In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine 1 c mayo type dressing, 2 tbsp. vinegar and 1/4 c sugar (I use a bit less sugar)

Shake well in jar to combine and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat just before serving
