Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

A friend at work gave me this recipe several years ago. Now it's a must-have for every family dinner at my house. The grandkids love it and specially reqest it at Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

2 pkg
frozen chopped broccoli (10 oz each)
1/2 c
mayonnaise
2
eggs, beaten
1 can(s)
mushroom soup, condensed
3 Tbsp
onions, chopped
2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c
bread crumbs for toasting
1/2 stick
butter or margarine

Directions Step-By-Step

Boil frozen broccoli 5 minutes; drain well. Beat eggs, stir in mayonnaise, soup, onion, cheddar, and broccoli. (Add 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste if needed.) Pour entire mixture into greased or sprayed 13 x 9 x 2 casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.

For Topping: Melt the 1/2 stick butter in a skillet. Add bread crumbs and stir until golden brown. Spread over baked casserole. So yummy!
