Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Saffron Rice

- 5 1/3 c
- boiling water
- 2 Tbsp
- bag of family size saffron yellow rice
- bag of frozen broccoli
- garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp
- 1 c
- shredded sharp cheese
1Boil the water in a pot and add the 2 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add in the rice and let cook for about 15 to 20 minutes (turn down the heat after five minutes of cooking on medium- high).
2While the rice is cooking add broccoli to another pot and add in 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water to boil it in. Add garlic salt one it starts to boil.
3Once the rice and broccoli is done, drain the water from the broccoli and add it into the rice. Top that off with the shredded cheese and mix lightly. Add a little more cheese on top and enjoy!
