Teresa Leach Recipe

Arkansas Green Beans

By Teresa Leach MrsMacie

My daughter made dinner for us one night and she had these yummy beans. We fell in love with them, now we ask for them every time we have a family meal. They are easy to fix and a great change for plain green beans.

When we make this we slightly cook the bacon, then lay the bacon on top of the green beans in a 9x13" baking dish.....then combine the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl, pouring the mixture over the green beans and bacon.
Then bake uncovered in the 350° preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes.

Next time I think I will do like your daughter and fry crispy bacon and crumble it into the mix before pouring it over the green beans.
