My 8 year old Granddaughter came over and helped me make dinner. She wanted to do the carrots all by herself. We cooked the carrots and she put together this dressing to drizzle over them. It contains Oil, Vinegar, Garlic, onion and ... Cinnamon (I know, you're saying, "Cinnamon? With Garlic?" lol) I had the same reaction, but when we tasted it, it was quite good! She loves to cook & help in the kitchen. I just had to add this one to our family recipes! :)

Stove Top

Ingredients

4-6
carrots, cut into medallions
olive oil
white vinegar
salt & pepper
garlic powder
1/8 small
onion (or a little less), minced very fine
water
1 tsp
bread crumbs, italian flavored
cinnamon (just a pinch, or two)

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook carrots in a saucepan until tender.

Meanwhile, blend the rest of the ingredients well.

Drain carrots and place in a bowl. Stir dressing & drizzle over top. Enjoy!
