Blue Ribbon Recipe

What an easy and delicious way to prepare butternut squash. It's savory, spicy, and sweet all at the same time. The kick from red pepper is subtle but makes an impact and goes with the savoriness of the bacon. Brown sugar, butter, and natural juices from the butternut squash form a sauce while baking. Drizzling that on top is a must. The bits of bacon bits mix with the sweetness. Yum! An easy butternut squash side dish to eat every day but impressive enough to serve company.
