Ingredients

4 c
shredded red cabbage
2 c
chopped unpeeled apples
2 Tbsp
bacon fat
1/4 c
vinegar
1/4 c
water
1/4 c
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
caraway seed
1 dash(es)
pepper

Step-By-Step

1Melt bacon fat in skillet. Add cabbage, apples and all other ingredients. Cover and cook till tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
