Bacon Cabbage And Cheese

- 6 slices bacon
- head of cabbage
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 slices american cheese
1Cut bacon into cubes place in large saute pan. Pan must have a tight fitting lid.
2Core cabbage and cut like making slaw.Put on top of bacon.
3Dice onion, put on top of cabbage.
4Put butter on top of onion.Place lid on top and cook over medium heat till cabbage is wilted. This does not need stired it just needs to steam till done.When done remove from heat and add cheese replace lid and let cheese melt. Remove lid stir and serve.
