I am so glad I finally tried quinoa. It us such a refreshing change from rice and it will absorb any flavors it is cooked with. Try this the next time you want something besides potatoes or rice.

Rice Cooker

Ingredients

1 c
quinoa
2 c
water
1 Tbsp
chicken soup base
1/2 tsp
ras el hanout

Step-By-Step

1Put the water and quinoa in the rice cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients. Whisk well. Cover and turn on rice cooker. Let cook but do not take off the lid till done.
2If you want to do this in a pan do the same as above but bring the mixture to a boil, cover abd let boil for 1 minute then remove from heat and let sit for 25 minutes covered. Don't peek.
