- butter, melted

1Beat eggs well; add flour, butter, milk, salt and beat til dough blisters.
2Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Drop batter from a wet spoon into water and let cook til tender (about 15 minutes). Drain, toss with melted butter.
3Note: can also drop into soup to cook.
