jan's Notes:

I'm always getting requests to bring this dish to gatherings. It goes well with ham. It's a side dish but tastes so good it could almost be classified as a dessert.

Directions

1
Cream butter and sugar together.
2
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
3
Fold in bread cubes and turn into a greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve with ham. Enjoy!

Sounds yummy, is it like bread pudding? I saved it for next time I make a ham. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bev, I think it is very similar to a bread pudding. My daughter added chunky pineapple instead of crushed, which was very good just different texture. Thanks for asking. Take care.

I accidentally forgot to add "stir in pineapple after you add your eggs", then fold in your bread cubes. Sorry about that!
