Ingredients

4 c
brown rice, cooked
2 lb
ground beef
2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
4 tsp
sage, dried
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 1/2 c
milk
2
celery ribs, chopped
1/2 large
bell pepper
1/2 medium
onion, chopped
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
2 can(s)
mushrooms (4 oz. cans)
4 oz
shredded cheese

Step-By-Step

1Cook ground beef with salt, pepper, sage, and cayenne pepper until browned and no pink remains. Drain.

2Stir in rice, milk, celery, green pepper, onion, soup, and mushrooms.

3Transfer to a lightly oiled 13x9x2-inch pan or large casserole. Sprinkle cheese over top.

4Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until center is bubbly.
