- 2 c
- short to medium grain rice ( ether white or brown)
- 3 c
- large pinch of salt
1In a mesh strainer rinse rice till water runs clear. Make sure to rub the rice between your hands so that you get all of it.
2Put the washed rice in a pot with water and salt. broil till the water is reduced to the top of the rice turn the temp down to med and continue cooking till the water is gone. only stir enough so that it doesn't burn.(i only stirred 3 times the whole time cooking)
3Remember- if you use soy sauce the rice will lose it's stick. If possible add the sauce to the food your eating with the rice.
