This is a flavorful rice I make as a side dish with any kind of meat.

Ingredients

1 c
long grain rice, uncooked
1 tsp
butter
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/8 tsp
ground black pepper
2 c
chicken broth
2 Tbsp
snipped fresh parsley
1 tsp
grated, lemon peel

Step-By-Step

1Combine rice, butter, garlic, lemon peel, pepper, and broth in 2 to 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice,
2Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley. Makes 6 servings.
