This is better than Rice-a-Roni! I like to use brown rice...it gives it a nuttier, chewier texture. If using brown rice simmer for 40 minutes instead.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
chicken bouillon granules
1 Tbsp
dried parsley
1 tsp
dried celery leaves
1 tsp
dried minced onion
1 tsp
sugar
2 Tbsp
butter
1 c
rice
2 c
water

Step-By-Step

1In skillet, melt butter. Add rice and saute until light brown.

2Add water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
