This is my husbands cousins recipe. She made it for us when we visited her in Savannah. What a treat!!!

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter
1 medium
onion (chopped)
2 can(s)
cream of potato soup, undiluted
3 1/2 c
milk
1/4 tsp
ground red pepper
1 1/2 lb
medium fresh shrimp (peeled)
4 oz
shredded monterey jack cheese
parsley as garnish

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter in Dutch oven. Add onion and saute 8 minutes.
2Stir in soup, milk and pepper. Bring to a boil.
3Add shrimp~reduce heat to simmer, stirring often until shrimp turn pink.
4Stir in cheese until melted.
