My husband got this recipe from a distant relative & makes it every year for thanksgiving. It is delicious! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients For praline topped sweet potato casserole

3 csweet potatoes (baked & peeled)

1/2 csugar

2 lgeggs

1 tspvanilla extract

1/3 cevaporated milk

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tsppumpkin pie spices

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/3 cbutter, softened
-
1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 call purpose flour

1 cpecans, in pieces
How To Make praline topped sweet potato casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2Grease a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish

3Whip potatoes with mixer (this helps remove any strings).

4Add sugar & mix.

5Add eggs one at a time & mix completely after each addition.

6Measure vanilla & evaporated milk in a cup. Mix it then slowly add to potato mixture.

7Add cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, & salt.

8Spread evenly in bottom of prepared casserole pan.

9Combine the butter, flour, & sugar until combined. Add chopped pecans then sprinkle evenly over potatoes.

10Bake at 350 covered with foil or a lid for 20 minutes. Uncover & cook an additional 10 minutes.
