This is a very easy and delicious
recipe That I devised.
Why? ..Because I love potatoes, rutabagas, cheese, and potato chips.
All of the above blend together for a great oven baked potato dish.
I hope you will try it and agree with me.
Grilled bratwurst and a crisp green salad would go great with this recipe....YUMMY !

6 large
potatoes...peeled and diced
1 large
rutabaga...peeled diced & 1/2 way cooked
1/2 - 3/4 c
onion............. chopped
2-3 Tbsp
2-3 dash(es)
black pepper
1 c
sour cream & onion potato chips....crushed measured & divided in half
3/4 c
cheese....., shredded
2 dash(es)
paprika,..... sweet mild


Step 1 Direction Photo

1wash and peel potatoes.

2Then dice, and set in cold water.

3wash peel and chop rutabaga.
Set in water with potatoes.

4Melt butter.
Chop onions.
Crush potato chips.
Spray cooking dish with oil.
Pre-heat oven to 350F.

Step 5 Direction Photo

5In a large mixing bowl, add drained potatoes,
drained rutabaga, chopped onion, pepper and melted butter.
MIX well.

Step 6 Direction Photo

6Put all in baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1/2 crushed potato chips.
Put in oven, uncovered and bake for about 40-45 minutes, at 350 F.
Until potatoes are soft, and the baking dish has golden edges around the inside of baking dish.

Step 7 Direction Photo

7Sprinkle cheese and the other 1/2
of potato chips over the top.
Return to oven till the cheese melts.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Serve and enjoy.
