Ingredients For horseradish & sour cream mashed taters

4 lbpotatoes, golden

2bay leaves
-
salt & pepper, to taste

2 csour cream
-
8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1 stickbutter, unsalted

5 Tbsphorseradish
-
2 Tbspcooking water
-
chives, dried (for garnish)
How To Make horseradish & sour cream mashed taters

1Put the potatoes into a large pot, add the bay leaves, 2 Tbsp. salt & cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat & cook until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.

2Remove the bay leaves & drain the water from the potatoes, reserving 2 Tbsp. cooking water.

3Smash potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add the sour cream, cream cheese, butter, horseradish & season well with salt & pepper. Garnish with chopped fresh chives.
