- 4 medium
- sea salt
- peanut oil for fryng
1I use a deep fryer for this recipe and I use peanut oil. Preheat deep fryer.
2Slice potatoes thin, I use a mandolin for slicing. "best investment I ever made for the kitchen"
3Fry 1 to 1 1/2 potatoes at a time depending on the size of your fryer. Move potatoes around in the oil making sure not to stick together. When potatoes start to float about 2 to 3 minutes pull basket out of oil and let potatoes rest and cool down for a minutes or two. Place basket back into oil and continue frying until golden brown or until your liking.
4Remove from oil drain on paper towel and season with salt and we like to use pepper too.
