Ingredients

2 lbs. of your favorite potatoes
3 tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. granulated garlic
pepper, to taste
dried minced onions or minced fresh onions, to taste
3 to 4 cups shredded cheese (marble or cheddar)
1 quart low fat milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 12 x 9 inch baking dish.

Peel or scrub potatoes and slice thin.

Layer 1/3 of potatoes in prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of salt, garlic, pepper, onions, cheese and milk. Repeat with 2 more layers.

Bake til potatoes are tender, 60 to 90 minutes. Serves 6 to 8
Note: For a creamier dish, add a can of low fat cream of mushroom soup to the milk.
