How To Make crock pot pork pot roast
-
Step 1Cut roast in 1/2. In a small bowl, combine the seasonings; rub over roast. Wrap in plastic wrap & refrigerate overnight.
-
Step 2Place the potatoes & onions in a 6 qt. slow cooker; add broth. Unwrap roast & place in the crock pot. Cover & cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Reduce heat to LOW & cook 6 hours longer or until meat is tender. NOTE: You can also add 6 carrots (peeled & sliced) into this step. Since I can't eat them - I don't add them.
-
Step 3Transfer roast & vegetables to a serving platter; keep warm. Pour broth into a saucepan. Combine flour & water until smooth; stir into broth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add browning sauce. Serve with roast.
