Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 - 4 pounds pork roast, loin end, boneless
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled & quartered
  • 3 large onions, peeled & quartered
  • 2 cans beef broth, reduced sodium
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon gravy master or kitchen bouquet browning sauce

How To Make crock pot pork pot roast

  • Step 1
Cut roast in 1/2. In a small bowl, combine the seasonings; rub over roast. Wrap in plastic wrap & refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 2
Place the potatoes & onions in a 6 qt. slow cooker; add broth. Unwrap roast & place in the crock pot. Cover & cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Reduce heat to LOW & cook 6 hours longer or until meat is tender. NOTE: You can also add 6 carrots (peeled & sliced) into this step. Since I can't eat them - I don't add them.
  • Step 3
Transfer roast & vegetables to a serving platter; keep warm. Pour broth into a saucepan. Combine flour & water until smooth; stir into broth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add browning sauce. Serve with roast.
  • Step 4
WEIGHT WATCHERS POINTS PLUS (including carrots): 6
