5-6	potatoes..peeled and cubed
2 medium	onions..peeled and cubed
1 stick	butter..sliced
	salt to taste
	pepper to taste
	garlic powder..just a littel..to taste

Debbie's Notes:

I grew up eating these potatoes. My Dad made them all the time. Now we make them. We put them on a charcoal pit with wood so they have a smokey flavor. They can be done on a gas grill or even over an open fire.

Directions

Make a pouch with foil..arrange cubed potatoes and onions.place slices butter ontop..salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

Place on pit with whatever meat you are cooking. Usually takes about an hour depending on the temp of the pit.

Yum Debbie...we do the same thing when camping...then, take these potatos, along with shredded cheese, and dump them into the frying pan with bacon and bacon grease, and a dozen eggs or more for a hearty dish at the camp we call "dirty eggs"...love taters...thanks for sharing!

HAHA..Thats what i get for multi-tasking when i typed that. I was talking on the phone, typing this, breaking up a fight, and drinking a glass of wine. Yes Dan..colby-jack cheese was of course was supposed to be on the end!! LOL
