Ingredients For buttery parmesan new potatoes

  • 12
    new potatoes, small
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    parsley, dried
  • 2 tsp
    chives, dried
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
  • 4
    green onions, chopped thinly

How To Make buttery parmesan new potatoes

    Peel 1/2" strip around the center of each potato & immediately place potatoes in a saucepan of cold water.

    Add enough additional water to cover the potatoes by 2". Bring to boil over medium high heat. Boil potatoes; 20 minutes; drain. DO NOT OVERCOOK! Cover to keep warm.

    Place the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH until melted, about 20 seconds or more, if needed. Stir in parsley, chives & cheese; mix well. Pour butter mixture over potatoes & toss well to coat. Add bacon & green onions; mix well.

    Spoon potatoes into a serving bowl. Serve immediately.
