Bob's Dutch Oven Potatoes.

Got my insperration from the book called The Skillet Full.
I then made a few changes to the recipe.

I make these a lot when a bunch of us guys go on a fishing trip....I have also made these for our church camp outs.

Ingredients

5 lb
potatoes,cut into wedges.
16 oz
mushrooms,your choice.
3 stick
real butter
5 clove
garlic,sliced.

bay leaves
4
rosemary sprigs,and thyme spris
hot sauce to taste
1 tsp
choped basil
5 slice
bacon
3 medium
onions

Directions Step-By-Step

In a 7qt cast iron dutch oven.Cook bacon till abought half cooked.remove and cut up bacon...Add mushrooms to bacon drippings and cook for 3 to 5 minutes...
Now add every thing else to the oven including the bacon.add a pinch of salt and pepper. Give it a stir. Cover and bake for abought 3 hours.

At abought 2 1/2 hours uncover. Add a little more salt and pepper. Add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of hot sauce,to tast. Stir and recover and finish baking 1/2 to 1 hour.Or untill tender.
