Ingredients

medium red or white potatoes
1/2 c
melted bacon drippings
salt & pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Wash and scrape spots from the potatoes. Dab dry. Cut into quarters. In a medium roaster or dutch oven,(I keep bacon drippings in a mason jar in the fridge), melt the bacon drippings in an oven at 350 degrees. After the drippings are melted. Add your seasoned potatoes (salt and pepper), to the pan, cover and roast in the oven about 45 minutes. Serve with your favorite chicken or pork chop main dish, and a steamed green vegetable.
