Southern Cornbread Dressing

Nothing beats good ole Southern Corn bread Dressing for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. I never knew what "stuffing" even was until I was much older. Growing up it was always my Granny's Dressing. You will do yourself and your family a favor for opting for the dressing this year for the Holidays! Go ahead and give it a try, I dare you!

Ingredients

large pone cornbread
1 stick
butter
1/2 c
chopped celery
1 small
onion

eggs, beaten
2 c
chicken stock
2 Tbsp
dried sage
salt and pepper to taste
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
buttermilk

Directions Step-By-Step

CORNBREAD:
2 Cups buttermilk cornmeal (I use White Lilly)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Buttermilk
2 eggs.
Mix all ingredients together and pour into a HOT oiled iron skillet. Bake at 375 until golden brown.

Mix all ingredients together and enough milk to make the mixture soupy. Pour into a HOT oiled iron skillet. Bake at 375 until golden brown.
