Black-Eyed Peas Mexican Style

I believe this recipe came from a package of dried black-eyed peas. I use dried black-eyed peas that have been soaked and cooked just until tender.

Ingredients

1/2 medium
onion, chopped
1 clove
garlic, minced
3 slice
bacon, chopped
16 oz
can diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp
chili powder
1 tsp
cumin powder
1/2 tsp
salt
4 c
cooked black eyed peas

Step-By-Step

1Combine onion, garlic, and bacon. Cook until bacon is brown. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
