These are very tasty baked beans and lower in sodium, sugar and fat, but you don't miss anything with the flavor!!!

Ingredients

43 oz
can of pork & beans, drained and rinsed
2 c
no salt added ketsup
1/2 c
brown sugar (trivia brown sugar blend, opt)
1/4 c
molasses
2 tsp
bold & spicy mustard
1/2 tsp
coarse black pepper
1/4 c
onion, diced
2 tsp
balsamic vinegar (added on 9/25/11)

Step-By-Step

1NOTE: If using Trivia brown sugar blend, use the guide on the package to determine how much to use.
2Drain and thoroughly rinse pork & beans, (the juice is where most of the sodium is). Place in large pot.
3Add one cup of no salt added ketsup, one cup of water, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, pepper & onion. Mix well, simmer on lowest heat for 20-30 min.
