- 2 c firmly packed fresh spinach
- 1 c firmly packed fresh basil
- 1 c grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c chopped pine nuts
- 1 c olive oil
- 10 cloves garlic,chopped
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1/4 t. crushed red pepper flakes
1Place all ingredients in a food processor. Cover and process about 3 minutes or until finely chopped and smooth,stopping occasionally to scrape sides.
Place in jars with a tight fitting lid. Keep in refrigerator up to 3 days or freeze in ice cubes up to 3 months.
