My great friend shared this recipe ,with along time ago.SINCE now i'm putting all my recipes together for my cookbook.Thanks CHANDRA BROWN my bff.wlt

Ingredients

1 can(s)
29 oz. of pumpkin puree,( approx 3 1/2 cups)
3/4 c
apple juice
2 tsp
ground ginger
1/2 tsp
ground cloves
1 1/3 c
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1
juice of fresh lemon

Directions Step-By-Step

(1) COMBINE pumpkin,apple juice spices in a large saucepan;Stir well.Bring mixture to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened.

STIR frequently .ADJUST spices to taste.STIR lemon juice,or more to taste.

(2) Once cool, pumpkin butter can be kept into a hot,hot jar ,filling to within 1/4 inch from the top .
REMOVE air bubble; wipe jar rims.Cover @ once with metal lids, and screw on bands.PROCESS in boiling water bath for about 10 minutes.
