This is an old recipe which was only recently discovered by a friend of mine.
It was on an aged hand written note.

Ingredients

2 large
onions, chopped
2 stalk(s)
celery, chopped
olive oil
2 clove
garlic, minced
1 large
apple, chopped
1 large
tomato, chopped
2 bottle
catsup
1 tsp
chili powder
salt to taste
3 Tbsp
sugar

Step-By-Step

1In a saucepan fry the onions in a little olive oil for 5-7 minutes until soft.

Add the garlic, tomatoes and apple and fry off again for another 5-7 minutes until the apple has softened.

Add the remaining ingredients, stir so it is well combined, bring to the boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
