Ingredients

1 gal
plums
1 qt
water
2 lb
sugar
1 Tbsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
allspice
1 tsp
cloves

Step-By-Step

1Wash and drain plums. Cover with water and cook slowly until tender; press through sieve, rubbing through as much pulp as possible.
2To the plums add sugar and seasonings. Simmer and when the consistency of catsup, put into jars or bottles.
