This is great on chicken or ribs. I decided to play around because I didn't care for the tequila lime recipe my husband was using. It just tasted like way too much tequila to me.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

We loved the flavor of this tequila lime sauce. The ingredients are a little different in this marinade and the tequila flavor is subtle. We marinated legs and thighs in this tequila lime sauce for about an hour and then basted them about every 15 minutes. The sauce caramelizes and turns a beautiful golden color. It's sticky, tangy, and sweet. A great sauce to grill almost anything. Try it on kabobs or shrimp too.
