Two of my favorite flavors joined together with pure simplicity. This glaze can be used as a marinade or brushed on as a grilling glaze for chicken, pork, or beef. An added bonus is that it will keep stored in the refrigerator for 1 month.

Ingredients

  • 4 cans (12-ounces each) a & w root beer
  • 1 1/3 cups sorghum molasses

How To Make root beer sorghum molasses glaze

  • Step 1
    Combine the root beer and molasses in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the mixture is reduced by about one third.
  • Step 3
    Store in a mason jar, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
  • Step 4
    Use as a marinade or glaze for chicken, pork, or beef
