Peaches are the perfect fruit--sweet, juicy, flavorful, rich in vitamins and nutrients. When they are at their peek of ripeness in the summer they taste like summer itself. But you can also use frozen peaches if fresh peaches aren't available for this recipe.

- 1 pound butter, unsalted, at room temperature
- 4 large ripe peaches, peeled and finely diced, or 2 1/2 cups frozen peaches,diced finely
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 4 tablespoons peach nectar
How To Make peach butter

Step 1In a food processor, combine all the ingredients by pulsing briefly, retaining pieces of the peach visible in the mixture.

Step 2Keep refrigerated, but bring it to room temperature before serving.

Step 3Try it on hot biscuits, cornbread, pancakes, toast or waffles.
