Citrus and Spice Cranberry Sauce

package of cranberries fresh or frozen
1/2 c
fresh orange juice
1 Tbsp
ornage zest
1 Tbsp
orange jello mix(i use instant) dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
4 Tbsp
1 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp
chipolte powder
1/4 c
pecans finely minced

Directions Step-By-Step

Place cranberries in a saucepan with orange juice, sugar, cinnamon and chipolte powder. Dissolve the jello in the hot water and add to pan. Cook over low to medium heat until cranberries are bubbly and just begin to burst because you will still want some whole cranberries. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes and add the pecans.
