Ingredients For black forest fondue

2jars 12 ounces each maraschino cherries with stems

1milk chocolate bar 8 ounces

1special dark chocolate bar 8 ounces

1/2 clight cream

3 Tbspkirsch
How To Make black forest fondue

1Drain cherries; set aside. (Cherries may be placed on flat tray in freezer for at least one hour before serving, if desired.) Break chocolate bars into pieces; place in medium saucepan with light cream. Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

2Remove from heat; add kirsch. If mixture thickens, stir in additional light cream, a tablespoon at a time. Pour into fondue pot or chafing dish; dip cherries into warm fondue.
