This is my brother-in-law's recipe. He says he never makes it the same, but I love it the way he gave it to me. We love it so much we eat it with nachos, tacos, burritos, even scrambled eggs. Mouth watering good!!

1 tsp
lemon pepper
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
cumin
2 tsp
cayenne pepper (red pepper)

diced green chilies (7 oz)
1
tomatillo
1 bunch
green onions

Directions Step-By-Step

In a blender add the tomato sauce, tomatillo, onion, diced green chilies, cilantro or parsley, and spices. Pulse or blend on medium until pureed.
Pour into large bowl.
2
Dice tomatoes pretty small discarding the seeds and add to the salsa base.
Add the other can of diced green chilies.

Chop green onion and add, using both the white and green portions.

Finely chop the other tomatillo and add to salsa.
5
Adjust seasonings as needed if you like it spicier. This is a little more on the mild side.
