Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce

The picture is a bit on the orange side, but it really is pretty RED. I tried to get as close to what the sweet-n-sour sauce at Chinese restaurants tastes like.

Ingredients

1 c
pineapple juice
2 c
cider vinegar
1 c
sugar
2-3 Tbsp
corn starch (mixed with a little water)
a few drops of red food coloring
1/2 c
chunk pineapple

OPTIONAL

sliced carrots and chunk green pepper

Step-By-Step

1Add pineapple juice, vinegar and sugar to pot and bring to boil (stir occationally).
2Once boiling, mix in the cornstarch/water mixture until desired thickness is reached.
3Add food coloring, mix well then add pineapple.
