Marsha's Notes:

A great gift, wonderful over ice cream, and many other desserts. You may stay awake at night thinking of things to top with this wonderful sauce. We have an abundance of pecans and I am always looking for ways to use them.

Directions

1
Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; stirring and allow to boil for about 30 seconds.
2
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cool, place in jars and refrigerate. Makes 3 generous cups.

Thank you. I give away many jars of this sauce in the coarse of a year, it makes a great hostess gift, teacher gift and Christmas gift. I make labels to fit the occasion.

No they never have for me. Must be the high heat of something. Just know they are so good.
