Pizza Sauce

A friend of mine gave me this recipe and it's been a favorite of ours. I make it early in the day in the blender and refrigerate until ready to use so the spices all blend together.

Makes 1-1/2 cups {for 2 pizzas}

14 1/2 oz
( or 1-3/4 cups)chopped or diced tomatoes, including juice
6 oz
tomato paste
2 tsp
dried basil
1-1/2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1-1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
1/2 tsp
garlc,chopped {optional}

Directions Step-By-Step

Early in the day {to give the flavors time to blend together}put all together in a blender and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. I don't add the garlic, but that's just my taste, if you like garlic you can add.
