Brown Family Chili Sauce for canning

This is my mother and grandmother Brown's recipe.

Ingredients

18 large
tomatoes
6 medium
onions
2
green pepper
4 c
vinegar (i like apple cider)
3 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
ground cloves
1 tsp
ground allspice
1 Tbsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Blanche tomatoes, peel and chop course. Chop onions and peppers course, add to large stock pot and boil until thick 31/2 to 4 hours.

2Put in canning jars according to directions and use hot water bath method. Use on meats, great on meatloaf, pork, experiment with it. Nice sweet sour flavor.
