Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a low boil.
Continue on a low simmer until it cooks down to the consistency you wish.
* chile honey (found in NM. I'm not sure you can find this other places, but it's wonderful if you can. substitute with the above listed heat alternatives, but do add a couple of tbsp of honey to bring up the sweetness if not using.)
