I use this as a side dish served with roast, chicken, or pork steaks. It also makes a good main dish if you add ham or chicken.
I know this is not the healthiest but it is a nice quick meal.

- 1(8) oz
- pkg.cream cheese
- 2 tsp
- garlic powder
- 2 c
- 6 oz
- grated parmesan cheese( i use the real stuff)
- 1/8 tsp
- black pepper
1Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat.
Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth.
Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps.
Stir in Parmesan and pepper.
Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency.
Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long.
Toss with hot pasta to serve.
