Combine apple juice, lemon juice and pectin in a large sauce pot. Stir over medium-high heat until pectin dissolves (about 20 minutes). Mixture will come to a rolling boil. Stir in sugar and return to rolling boil (about 5 minutes). Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim foam if necessary.
Pour hot liquid into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. Adjust caps. Process 5 minutes in boiling water bath. Yield about 10 half pints.
