Ingredients

1 lb
breakfast sausage
1/2 c
butter
1/4 c
flour
3-4 c
milk, as needed
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Brown sausage in a large skillet. remove sausage but keep drippings. Add butter to same akillet and bring pan to medium to heat.

2Slowly whisk in flour, stirring constantly till smooth, cooking for about 5 minutes.

3Slowly whisk in fist 2 cups of milk and mix, till bubbly. continue whisking in milk until you reach your desired consistancy
Add salt and pepper to taste and return sausage to gravy.
