this is fantastic with left over roast cut up and added. I have served it with moose roast. It stands alone as a gravy as well.

Ingredients For my bordelaise sauce

1 smonion chopped
-
1 cchopped mushrooms (i add more)

1 tspthyme, dried
-
1/2 cbutter
-
1/4 cflour
-
1 canbeef broth
-
3/4 cwater
How To Make my bordelaise sauce

1saute the small onion and 1 cup chopped mushrooms togeather, 1 tsp. of thyme and 1/2 cup of butter. If you want this can be doubled for a larger amount of gravey.. once you have tasted this you will want double

2when mushrooms are cooked add 1/4 cup flour and stir constantly until flour browns about 5 min. Stir in 1 can of beef broth and 3/4 cup of water. cook until thickened... yum.
