Bacon Gravy

I use this on my breakfast pizza or with biscuits and gravy. I prefer bacon gravy over all others for breakfast dishes.

I didn't have milk so I replaced the milk with cream of mushroom soup and took out the flour. It tasted perfect. So in a pinch or just for that touch of mushroom flavor swap out milk for cream of mushroom soup and water. Add water until you get the thickness you are looking for.

Ingredients

2-3 Tbsp
bacon grease
2 Tbsp
flour
2 c
milk
pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Whisk bacon grease and flour together for about one minute over medium heat. Be sure not to burn the flour.
2Add milk; continue to whisk.
3Whisk in pepper as desired.
4Heat ingredients until bubbling and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
