Ingredients

1 can(s)
pitted royal ann cherries in heavy syrup
2 Tbsp
cider vinegar
1 Tbsp
granulated sugar
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1 Tbsp
cornstarch - the tablespoon should be heaping

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain syrup off the cherries directly into a small saucepan, reserving the cherries for later.

Add all ingredients, except cherries, to the syrup, stirring over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.

Add cherries and heat through and serve over meat of your choice.
